4.1 Summary

For every abelian group homomorphism f form group A to group B there is the natural transformatin from Hom(-,A) to Hom(-,B) functor. The same could be said about functors Hom(A,-), Ext(A,-), Ext(-,A), Tor(A,-) and tensor product functors. The software provides calculation of these natural transformations.

4.2 Example of natural transformation calculation

Select a set of homomorphisms of Abel groups. Put an element on desktop. Open its property editor

 

Press the "Create transformations from selected arrows" button. Names of selected arrows should appear on the listbox. Then press the "Calculate functors and natural transformations" button. It results to calculation of functors and natural transformatios.
